Since 2002, Paul Hansen has been involved in some form or fashion with low vision products. Having left a long career in the family automobile business, he found himself establishing a low vision product center in 2007. As founder of Eye Assist, LLC, Paul became the Enhanced Vision distributor for New York’s southern sections. From Poughkeepsie, New York City and its Burroughs, to New Jersey and Long Island, Eye Assist, LLC meets the needs of blind and visually impaired persons.
Paul’s goal then, and now, was to provide only top quality low vision products from a single manufacturer. This decision was based on the reputation of products for being superior in product quality, manufacturing integrity and innovation. It was an easy decision and one that has carried the business forward.

Our location in the southern section of New York affords us the opportunity to reach out to many people. We come to you and bring you the products that will change your life. Our staff is well-trained and will help you in making the best decision. If you are not satisfied with your products, we are as close as the phone, and will work with you to make it right.
